Worst service ever! Staff laughing behind you .... don't care whether you are suffering or not. You can wait for 3+ hours sitting on a chair and when you ask why they either say we don't know or someone will come "eventually". More than 5 patients waiting in the emergency for more than 2 hours and noone checks on them. Worst of the worst

Emergency department makes you wait for ages before a simple checkup. After long wait of near about 4 hours, Assistant response was so lame. That they have no information when the doctor will call us. Busy day so you have to wait for another couple of Hours.

My son had a motorbike accident and needed to go to emergency. I seriously considered paying for him to be seen at a private emergency department, to avoid spending tedious hours sitting around at hospital. However I chose to take a chance with QEII emergency instead as I couldnt really afford to pay the hundreds of $$ private emergency would have cost me. I am so glad I made that choice. I can't fault anything about our visit to QEII emergency. The reception, medical staff and doctor were all super friendly, supportive, professional and efficient. The facilities were clean and modern. We were not left waiting at any stage and within a couple of hours he had been seen, had X-rays done, a tetanus shot, assessed by a doctor, strapped up and given crutches and a brace to keep (which would have cost us extra at the private hospital). Thank you everyone at QEII emergency for providing an A1 service.

Back in March the surgeon agreed to operate on my knee again for the fourth time and I was placed on the 12 month waiting list. In October I saw the surgeon who noted that my condition was getting worse and agreed to do ANOTHER total knee replacement. Again I was placed on a 12 month waiting list. Then less than 2 weeks ago I had a pre-op appointment with the anaesthetist. So today I get home from work to a letter telling me I've been taken off the elective surgery waiting list. The letter says I can contact them until 5pm so I ring only to find they actually close at 4pm. I should never have been taken off the original aiting list from March as the operation is all to da with the same knee.

It's the worst hospital i ever experienced in my entire life, i specifically told the ambulance to bring me to PA, there is this Kent who talks rudely with no compassion at all even if you are in soooo much pain, the ambulance supervisor even just ignored me i never thought i will loose respect to them. You wonder why they deal with patients when they can't show any kindness. I commend Linda for being a great nurse. PA staff are the best they show compassion and look after the patients.
